We are a travel agency with over 40 years of experience in the tourism industry. Our agency was founded in 1980 in a small village of Drama, Ochyro. It was the first agency in the area at that time and the residents warmly embraced it. Thus, in a short period of time, it experienced great growth, acquiring the first privately owned tourist bus and establishing the first branch in the city of Thessaloniki. Over the years Portokalidis Tours has grown into one of the leading tour operators in the region, offering its clients a wide range of quality travel services. This was only the beginning. Soon the presence of the company was extended to other regions of Northern Greece such as Drama, Xanthi and Komotini.

Portokalidis Tours, however, did not limit its activity only to N. Greece. Soon we developed a new service, different from the usual ones, the regular bus line between Greece and Germany, starting in Xanthi and ending in Frankfurt, Germany, the longest bus line in Greece to this day. Additionally there were other bus lines to other states such as Albania, Istanbul, Izmir, with the predominant one being Bursa.
